Domestic violence

Domestic violence is a pervasive and serious problem that affects millions of people globally, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, or socioeconomic status. It is defined as any form of physical, sexual, emotional, or psychological abuse that occurs within a domestic or intimate relationship. Domestic violence can take many forms, including physical violence such as hitting, pushing, or punching, as well as emotional abuse such as belittling, name-calling, or controlling behavior. It often leads to long-term physical and emotional consequences for the victim, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and in severe cases, even death. Despite efforts to raise awareness and prevent domestic violence, it remains a widespread issue that requires continued attention and action.
