The country's economic system, whether a free market, a centrally planned industry, or a mixed industry, also plays a different role in determining the ease with which foreign business attempts will take place. For instance, free market economies allow foreign business actions to happen with little noise. On the other end of this spectrum, centrally planned economies are government-controlled. Although most nations today operate as free-market economies, China, the world's most populous country, remains a centrally planned system.
